Annual report drawn up by the OCTE (Basque TaxCoordination Agency) as required by the Basque Parliament’s Tax Harmonisation,Coordination and Collaboration Act (Law 3/1989, May 30).

The report gives an annual overview of the activitiesof the Treasuries forming part of the institutional network in the autonomouscommunity of the Basque Country.

It sets out the structure and organisation andthe tax relations of the Basque Treasuries as a whole and also explainsthe Basque public financing system.

Providing a predominantly quantitative analysisof the activities of each Treasury, the report distinguishes between threelevels: the Treasury of the General Administration of the Basque Country,the Foral (Provincial) Treasuries of Alava, Bizkaia and Guipúzcoaand the Local Treasuries. A brief overview of their tax-related activitiesand economic management in general is included.
