Port of Lekeitio

The port of Lekeitio is to be found near the mouth of Lea River. The island of San Nicolás lies to the left of the harbour entrance.
Lekeitio is a fishing port, but has a considerable number of leisure watercrafts, a fact that is closely related to the tourist nature the town has newly acquired.
Parking : free parking area in the port.
Fish for sale : fish for sale every day in the port, except Sundays.
Exhibition spaces : There are display panels that refer to the different tourist spots in the town, such as the isle and the beach.

Musical: Hoy no me puedo levantar

Arriaga Theatre will play host to the musical Hoy no me puedo levantar from August 13th to September 7th. The musical that is having great success since it premiered has its origin in one of the most celebrated Spanish music bands: Mecano. The trio made up one of the most important bands of pop music in the Spanish state and won the affections of three generations.
The musical tells the story of a couple of friends who move to Madrid so that their dreams come true: to create a music band. There, they will have to face record companies' lack of understanding and learn to survive without either job or money. They will find love and flirt with drugs. The 80s are the heart of the culture and social turmoil, where the characters will live, suffer, be happy, be unhappy and finally become the most important band in the Spanish State.
